About the Role

As a physiotherapist with Maximus, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with disabilities or health conditions navigate the benefits system. Your clinical expertise will be utilized to conduct thorough assessments, gathering information about how a person's condition affects their daily life. This will involve listening to their experiences, asking questions, and using your insights to produce a factual report that will inform the Department for Work and Pensions' (DWP) decision on their eligibility for benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals with disabilities or health conditions
  • Collect and analyze information about how a person's condition affects their daily life
  • Produce factual reports to inform the DWP's decision on eligibility for benefits
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality service delivery

Requirements

  • HCPC registered physiotherapist with 1 year's broad post-registration experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health
