About the Role

Hargreaves Lansdown is currently seeking an experienced Incident Management Lead to join their team. As a key member of the organization, this role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of incidents and crises, ensuring the company operates in a way that minimizes disruption to clients, colleagues, and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading the coordination of incidents across the organization, aligning with the Hargreaves Lansdown Incident and Crisis Management Framework, standards, and processes.
  • Developing and embedding a suite of Crisis Management standards and processes across the organization, ensuring all stakeholders understand their roles and responsibilities during a crisis or incident.
  • Monitoring, maintaining, and updating the Crisis Management Framework to ensure it remains effective and relevant.
  • Creating, maintaining, and delivering Crisis Management training to ensure all teams are equipped to handle incidents and crises effectively.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across Digital, Cyber, Data, Third Parties, Risk, and 1st line teams to drive improvements in incident management and create a robust, centralized process for managing incidents.
  • Staying up-to-date with regulatory knowledge and industry forums to ensure professional competence and expertise.
  • Working collaboratively with stakeholders to monitor and detect early signs of an incident, assess the potential business/client impact, and invoke the appropriate crisis response (Bronze/Silver/Gold) to ensure effective recovery.
  • Establishing and driving an effective process for incident communications, ensuring key stakeholders are informed throughout the incident management life-cycle.
  • Conducting post-incident reviews to identify root causes and drive improvements in incident management.
  • Preparing reports and dashboards related to incidents/crisis to inform senior stakeholders up to executive level.
About You

This role requires a candidate with previous experience in running incidents, strong networking and influencing skills, and the ability to manage their workload and meet deadlines. The ideal candidate should possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be results-oriented, and have critical analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Interview Process

The interview process for this role will consist of a two-stage interview with a task assessment.

Working Schedule

This role is based in Bristol, with a hybrid flexible working pattern that allows for a mix of working from home and coming into the office. The team must be available on a 7am-7pm rota.
