Are you a dedicated science teacher seeking a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time science educator to join our team at a partner secondary school in Oldbury (B69).

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced science teacher to deliver engaging biology, chemistry, and/or physics lessons to a range of ages and abilities across mainstream secondary schools.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lesson Planning: Plan a variety of science lessons that ignite scientific curiosity amongst learners within each class.
  2. Teaching: Deliver engaging science lessons that spark active debate, using a range of techniques and teaching strategies to promote active learning amongst pupils.
  3. Assessment and Feedback: Assess pupils' progress regularly, providing timely and informative feedback conducive to their learning.

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Bachelor's degree in a science subject
  • Experience teaching the UK science national curriculum in a mainstream secondary school
  • Enhanced child only DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
