Deputy Headteacher for Behaviour and Attitudes

Bilton School is seeking an exceptional Deputy Headteacher to lead our Behaviour and Attitudes team. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for promoting positive behaviour and attitudes across the school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement strategies for improving student behaviour and attitudes.
  • Monitor and evaluate the School Improvement Plan, ensuring the school's goals are achieved.
  • Manage the school's daily operations, maintaining a high-profile presence for staff and students.
  • Stay up-to-date with local and national educational developments, disseminating information to colleagues.
  • Establish clear strategies and routines for student behaviour, setting high expectations for all aspects of school life.
  • Lead on high standards of school uniform, in line with school policy.
  • Support colleagues in managing challenging student behaviour, promoting warmth, empathy, and emotional intelligence.
  • Advise on suspensions, ensuring proportionate, legal, and justified use.
  • Monitor and evaluate behaviour patterns and trends across the school.
