We are seeking an experienced Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Willing Care. As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, particularly those with dementia.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Monitor residents' health and report any changes to the nursing team.
- Administer medication as instructed by healthcare professionals.
- Support residents with mobility and encourage independence.
- Communicate effectively with residents and their families to provide person-centred care.
- Lead and direct a team of Healthcare Assistants.
- Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
- 2+ years of experience working as a Senior Healthcare Assistant in a care home setting.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents.
- Free uniform.
- Paid DBS check.
