Senior Healthcare Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Willing Care. As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, particularly those with dementia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Monitor residents' health and report any changes to the nursing team.
  • Administer medication as instructed by healthcare professionals.
  • Support residents with mobility and encourage independence.
  • Communicate effectively with residents and their families to provide person-centred care.
  • Lead and direct a team of Healthcare Assistants.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • 2+ years of experience working as a Senior Healthcare Assistant in a care home setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents.
