Key Responsibilities- Provide support with everyday tasks to promote independence, including cooking, cleaning, and shopping.
- Assist with health appointments and personal care.
- Participate in community activities, such as going for walks, swimming, or attending arts and crafts clubs.
- No prior driving experience is necessary, and on-the-job training is provided.
- Good communication skills are essential, particularly when supporting individuals who are hard of hearing.
Shifts are typically between 9:30am-10pm, 7am-1pm, 1pm-10pm, and 10am-6pm on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. We also welcome applications from individuals interested in casual work.
LocationOur service is located in the beautiful town of Herne Bay, with a bus stop nearby and underground parking available.
About YouWe are looking for someone who enjoys the company of adults and is willing to learn and adapt to the needs of our service users. An understanding of autism, anxiety, and challenging behaviors would be desirable, but not essential. Above all, we value individuals who share our commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others.
