About the Role

We are recruiting for a Clinical Psychologist to work within our Complex Emotional and Relational Needs (CERN) Pathways service in Oldham. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality psychological therapies to individuals with complex needs, using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Personality Disorders (CBT-PD).

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical psychology, with experience of working with individuals who present with challenging behaviour. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop effective treatment plans for individuals with complex emotional and relational needs.
  • Deliver evidence-based psychological therapies, including group and individual sessions.
  • Collaborate with other professionals and services to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements:

  • Doctoral level training in clinical psychology, including specific models of psychopathology and clinical psychometrics.
  • Experience of working with individuals who present with challenging behaviour.
  • Knowledge of the practice implications of National guidance and policy.

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum
