Technical Services Manager
PRS seeks an experienced Technical Services Manager to oversee the delivery of M&E maintenance across their estate. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and a proven track record of managing technical services in commercial multi-tenant environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining effective management systems and procedures, ensuring the continuity of service and protecting landlord assets. They will also contribute to the management of health, safety, and wellbeing for all users of the building/estate.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Contract management and coordination with associated contractors.
  2. Monitoring and analysis of building management systems and plant operation.
  3. Carrying out regular audits and inspections of plant, related areas, and equipment.
  4. Reviewing contractors' reports and proposals.
  5. Attending site during shutdowns and essential works as necessary.

Candidates should have a strong technical background, with a degree in engineering and at least five years of experience in a similar role. They should also have excellent communication and project management skills.

Further Duties:
  1. Compliance with current legislation and recommended standards.
  2. Providing day-to-day technical and operational support to building managers and occupiers.
  3. Management of the permit to work system and check method statements.
  4. Reviewing occupier license applications.
  5. Undertaking regular audits of maintenance programmes.
  6. Preparing and managing engineering service charge budgets.
  7. Implementation and management of the concept planned maintenance system.
