Job Title: Client-Side Engineering Manager

Location: Multi-Tenant Building, City of London

Salary: £80-85k + Annual Bonus + Healthcare + Pension Scheme

We are seeking an experienced Technical Services / Engineering Manager to take ownership of a multi-tenant commercial building undergoing extensive refurbishment until late 2025. The successful candidate will lead a multi-disciplinary team and maintain high standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership & People Management: Lead a team of technical professionals and ensure compliance with statutory obligations.
  2. Operational/Technical: Oversee technical services operations and develop maintenance strategies for the building.
  3. MEP: Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and develop maintenance strategies for the building's MEP systems.
  4. Fabric Management: Ensure the building fabric is maintained according to design specifications.
  5. ICT: Ensure ICT systems comply with statutory obligations.
  6. Customer Orientation/Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain good relations with stakeholders and support client events.
  7. Contract Management: Ensure suitable utility contracts are in place and manage relationships with site delivery partners.
  8. Health & Safety, Environment and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and manage risk for all technical systems.

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership in a senior Technical Services Management role.
  • Ability to manage a variety of people and develop relationships.
  • Knowledge of MEP, Fabric, ICT in a Property Management Environment.
  • Experience in mixed-use buildings and managing critical infrastructure.
  • Strong IT Skills and experience with alterations/fit outs.
  • H&S qualification ISOH/NEBOSH is ideal.
  • Fully conversant with Electrical installation and current IEE regulations.
