About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Community Support Specialist to join our team at South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in care delivery, with experience working in a healthcare or people-centered environment. They will be able to work as part of a team, demonstrate compassion and empathy, and possess excellent communication skills.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their skills and contribute to the well-being of our patients. We offer a competitive salary of £22,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • To provide high-quality patient care, working closely with our registered professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • To assist in the supervision of other healthcare and support staff, promoting a positive and supportive team culture.
  • To maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to our trust's policies and procedures.
  • To communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and colleagues, using clear and respectful language.
  • To participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the continuous development of our services.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in delivering care in a healthcare or people-centered environment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, demonstrating compassion, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
  • GCSE level A-C English and Maths or equivalent qualification.
  • NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Healthcare or equivalent.
