Cost Consultant

At Cavendish Nuclear, we're working to create a safe and secure world, together. As a Senior Cost Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in our Warrington or Preston sites, applying your expertise in requirements management, budgeting, and cost control.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement project baseline budgets, including control account plans, responsibility assignment matrices, and WBS dictionaries.
- Monitor, control, and validate project accruals and commitments, as well as resource and financial forecast data.
- Manage and control cost risk budgets and drawdowns, and contribute to the risk management process.
- Ensure financial change management alignment with business and contractual requirements.
- Provide internal and external financial performance and cost reports, including earned value and variation analysis.
- A HNC level qualification in cost engineering or quantity surveying is ideal, but not essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in complex situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
