Actuarial Business Manager

Join APR LLP as an Actuarial Business Manager and play a crucial role in driving business growth and excellence in our Operations & Client Delivery department.
We are seeking an experienced leader who can manage key functions within the Operations & Client Delivery business area, including actuarial people management, recruitment, project resourcing, quality assurance, client service delivery, training, and strategic business operations.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with other business areas and the Partner Board to grow and develop APR as a business.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage several functions within the Operations & Client Delivery business area.
- Drive operational improvements and business growth.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- Work on client projects, applying actuarial expertise to enhance APR's services.
- Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Contribute to staff development and mentoring.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of successful operational management, preferably in an actuarial setting.
- Evidence of leading significant change projects.
- Experience in line and team management.
- Excellent time-management and prioritisation skills.
- A creative approach to problem-solving.
- Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders and deliver results.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and self-development.
- FIA or equivalent actuarial qualification preferred, with several years of experience in UK insurance markets.
Salary: This role offers a competitive salary range of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
