Job Summary

We are seeking a High Availability Engineer to join our team at Amazon. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing large-scale cloud computing infrastructure that ensures high availability and performance.

About the Role

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver complex technical projects and design scalable and secure systems. You will also analyze and troubleshoot system issues to ensure high availability and performance.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Linux system administration and experience with systems automation
  • Experience with network fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, switching, HTTP)
  • Good troubleshooting skills at all levels

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Exposure to cloud computing concepts and design considerations
  • Knowledge of configuration management systems (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, etc.)

Compensation Package

$120,000 - $180,000 per year
