High-Performance R&D Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Software Engineer to join our Streamline developer tools team.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to craft new, experimental tools and features that can empower our customers in the short term, and be coordinated into the Streamline tool in the long term.
Key Responsibilities- Develop high-quality code in various programming languages.
- Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) requirements.
- Work in an Agile development environment and drive continuous improvement throughout the development life-cycle.
- Collaborate frequently with internal and external customers.
- Strong software development skills using Java or C++.
- Experience in writing quality code, unit testing, integration testing, CI/CD pipelines, etc.
- A good university degree in engineering, science, or mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of optimization and profiling for software applications and system software.
- Scripting skills in Python and Linux command line expertise.
- Familiarity with Linux/POSIX development or low-level Linux/Android systems programming.

SalaryThe estimated salary for this role is around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
