Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Azure Infrastructure Specialist to join our team in Edinburgh.

This role will involve leading the management and deployment of Microsoft-based server and cloud solutions for the group. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining new technology, as well as providing third-line support for existing systems and related technology.

Your workload will be based on support tickets raised in our IT Service Desk system, involving you supporting staff over the phone, via email, and face-to-face to resolve their hardware and software-related issues.

  • Delivery of proactive continual improvement through technical assessment including business risk, resilience, capacity, and availability of services hosted within the environment.
  • Responsible for the design and delivery of new Azure infrastructure, on-premise, and hybrid solutions.
  • Management of the Hybrid cloud infrastructure including servers, storage, security, and virtualization.
  • Providing solid documentation of systems and architecture, design, configuration, and testing evidence.
  • Management of desktop builds/images where integration with server infrastructure is required.

Our salary range for this position is £45,954 - £51,060 per annum. We also offer a wide-ranging benefits package, which includes:
