SENDCo Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled SENDCo to join our team at a reputable school in West Bromwich. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a passion for inclusive education to take on a key leadership role, driving positive change for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
Responsibilities and Duties- Develop and implement effective strategies to support pupils with SEND, working closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure individualized approaches.
- Contribute to the development of the school's SEND policy, ensuring it remains up-to-date and aligned with national guidance.
- Liaise with external agencies, such as the Local Authority and healthcare providers, to access resources and expertise that benefit pupils with SEND.
The successful candidate will possess a strong track record of delivering results-oriented solutions for pupils with SEND, demonstrating exceptional leadership and collaboration skills. They will also be passionate about continuous professional development, staying updated on best practices and research in SEND education.
Requirements- Negotiable salary, estimated at £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, reflecting the significance of this role in fostering a culture of inclusivity and support.
- Full-time position, 8:20 am - 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only), offering an appealing work-life balance.
