About the Role:

Noble Recruiting Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to join our team. As a key member of our HSE Department, you will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with current HSE legislation and approved codes of practice and guidance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of HSE legislation and best practice.
  • Monitor, evaluate and review existing, new and upcoming HSE legislation to ensure legal compliance.
  • Advise the management team on implications of current and emerging HSE legislation, including evaluating options, making recommendations, and generating action plans to ensure compliance.
  • Provide HSE advice, training, guidance, and support to all levels within the organisation.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and leadership across the area of HSE, creating a positive culture driving down accidents and raising awareness.
  • Assist in identifying and delivering employee training needs for effective management of health, safety, and risk.
  • Carry out routine inspections and audits to ensure adherence to HSE procedures, providing feedback and actions to mitigate risks.
  • Review HSE documents, including method statements, risk & COSHH assessments.
  • Set up and chair HSE representative meetings as per statutory requirements.
  • Manage accident and incident data, investigating circumstances and causes of accidents/incidents, taking necessary steps to prevent recurrence.
  • Assist with the administration and internal auditing of management systems, for example, BSEN 9001 & 14001.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external safety, health & environmental organisations, including enforcing authorities as necessary.
