Job Summary

The Eventus Recruitment Group is seeking a highly skilled Medical Negligence Solicitor to join a top-ranked law firm in Hertford. This is a permanent role available on a hybrid basis, offering a unique blend of work-life balance and career growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of high-value, multitrack medical negligence cases involving life-changing injuries.
  • Compile evidence in support of claims, evaluate merits, and identify legal and medical issues.
  • Calculate appropriate damages, instruct medical experts, and liaise with Counsel.
  • Communicate and negotiate with Defendant Solicitors, provide guidance to junior fee earners, and identify business development opportunities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of PQE in good-quality medical negligence work.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential information.
