About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Content Manager to join our team at Legal & General. As a Content Manager, you will play a key role in planning and creating engaging content across various media channels to support our Defined Contribution (DC) business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Creation: Develop and implement a content strategy to influence every stage of the DC client journey, across a range of platforms and formats, including video, podcasts, and social media.
  • Client and Adviser Communications: Produce high-quality communications, such as email updates, business announcements, and crisis communications, to support our DC business.
  • Copy-Editing and Content Coordination: Provide compliant copy-editing for regular DC fund reports and presentations, and coordinate and proof-read content from external writers.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain productive relationships with colleagues in Distribution, Investments, and other stakeholders across the business.
  • Project Support: Support DC-related projects as required and provide ad-hoc support to the Content team and wider Marketing team.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with all Consumer Duty accountabilities, including the production and maintenance of clear, fair, and non-misleading marketing collateral and client-facing material.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: BA/BS in English, Economics, Finance, or Marketing, or a comparable Arts or Languages degree.
  • Writing and Editing Skills: Exceptional writing and editing skills, with proficiency in writing for various audiences and an understanding of DC client requirements.
  • Content Creation Experience: At least five years' writing experience in a professional capacity at an asset manager, PR agency, or news outlet.
  • Editing and Proof-Reading Experience: Experience in editing and proof-reading, with a focus on multimedia content promotion.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders and communicate effectively.
