Corporate Tax Specialist

A leading accountancy practice in Central and Southern England is seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join their Surrey-based office. This is a full-time permanent position offering hybrid and flexible working options.
The Opportunity:
This role is ideal for someone with strong UK practice corporate tax experience, including accounting. The firm invests heavily in their teams, providing full training and support to develop your skills and abilities for a long-term career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with a range of tax activities, including restructures, management buyouts, and capital allowance claims.
- Provide innovative tax planning for corporations and standalone companies.
- Offer bespoke advisory work, including the wider tax implications for company owners.
- Review corporation tax computations prepared by the team, covering various clients, including mutual traders and non-resident landlords.
- Liaise with the compliance team and other divisions to identify potential tax planning projects.
- Assist with the training of less experienced team members.
- Partner-level mentorship and a tailored career progression plan.
- Immediate entry onto the bespoke Management Development Programme.
Requirements:
- Strong UK tax experience.
- CTA, ACA, or ACCA qualified.
- Excellent client relationship and project management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and meet tight timeframes with high-quality output.
- Enjoy working as part of a corporate tax and advisory team.
- Demonstrate good judgment of risk and be commercially minded.
