About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Sense. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex disabilities, including sensory impairments, physical disabilities, and learning difficulties.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, cleaning, and household chores.
- Encourage and support individuals to participate in a range of activities, including communication, creative arts, therapies, and physical activities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with individuals, their families, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to support.
Requirements
- No previous experience is necessary, as we provide comprehensive training and support.
- Knowledge of multi-sensory impairments, learning difficulties, and disability support is beneficial.
- A full manual UK license and willingness to drive is desirable.
- Knowledge of British Sign Language or similar is beneficial.
