Senior Landscape Architect

We are seeking an experienced Associate Landscape Architect to join our dynamic Masterplanning team at FRAME. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape design, urban design, and large-scale landscape-led masterplanning projects. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker who can lead projects, manage client relationships, and contribute to developing sustainable and innovative design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead Landscape Architectural Design: Lead the landscape architectural design components of large-scale masterplanning projects, from concept through to completion.
  2. Strategic Input: Provide strategic input on landscape architecture to shape the public realm and open space within masterplans.
  3. Client Relationship Management: Manage client relationships, ensuring the highest level of service and communication throughout project life cycles.
  4. Mentorship: Mentor and support junior members of the landscape architecture team.
  5. Project Delivery: Oversee project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  6. Communication: Prepare presentations, reports, and design documentation to communicate landscape concepts and plans to clients and stakeholders.
  7. Industry Knowledge: Stay current with industry trends, sustainability practices, and innovations in landscape architecture.
Qualifications & Experience:
  1. Master's Degree: Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture (or equivalent qualification).
  2. Chartered Status: Chartered status with the Landscape Institute (CMLI).
  3. Experience: Significant experience in landscape architecture, with a focus on masterplanning and public realm design, wayfinding, and signage.
  4. Project Delivery: Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex projects.
  5. Technical Proficiency: Strong technical proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modelling tools (e.g., SketchUp, Rhino).
  6. Industry Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of UK planning policies, sustainability practices, and environmental regulations.
  7. Team Leadership: Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Desirable Skills:
  1. BIM Experience: Experience with BIM processes and workflows.
  2. Ecology Knowledge: Knowledge of ecology, green infrastructure, and biodiversity principles in landscape design.
  3. Sustainability: Experience with net zero targets and sustainability.
  4. International Experience: Middle East and international project experience.
