Marine & Offshore Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine & Offshore Surveyor to join our team at Lloyd's Register. As a key member of our Liverpool team, you will be responsible for performing surveys on new construction projects, in-service vessels, and marine equipment components.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading classification society and contribute to the growth of our business in the region. If you have experience in Classification, in-service ship surveys, and audits, we encourage you to apply.
Estimated salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on location and experience).
About the Role:
As a Senior Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys on various types of projects, including new construction, repair, and maintenance. You will also be involved in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to survey activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct surveys on new construction projects, in-service vessels, and marine equipment components
* Develop and implement policies and procedures related to survey activities
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality survey results
* Identify and address any non-conformities or defects found during surveys
Requirements:
* Degree or equivalent from a recognized institution within the relevant field of engineering or physical science
* Relevant sea-going experience and knowledge of classification rules and regulations
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
