About the Role

As a Structural Engineer, you will be located at our purpose-built facility in Thurnscoe, Rotherham, reporting to the Engineering Manager. Your key responsibilities will include validating designs through trials, testing, and field evaluations, carrying out structural analysis work, including finite element analysis, and assisting in all other engineering functions as required.

Key Accountabilities
  • Operate a safe working environment in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain records of personal development and training.
  • Carry out structural analysis work, including finite element analysis.
  • Carry out Structural, mechanical, and process design work.
  • Contribute to the continuing improvement programme to reduce costs and raise quality.
  • Provide engineering support to production, sales, and site services departments.
Requirements
  • Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
  • 5+ years' structural analysis experience.
  • Appreciation of Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
  • Experience of designing steel and composite materials.
  • Experience of foundation design.
