Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Engineer to join our client, a leading Structural Steel manufacturer.

The successful Mobile Plant Engineer will be responsible for ensuring plant availability and providing essential engineering support across all UK facilities.

Job Responsibilities
  • Plant Maintenance: Conducting regular PPM services to meet operational demands and maintaining all plant assets.
  • Machine Malfunction Rectification: Diagnosing and correcting machine malfunctions to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
  • Risk Management: Conducting and documenting full risk assessments prior to any engineering activity and ensuring adherence to safe systems of work.
  • Training & Development: Providing engineering training to new starters and overseeing large installations and machine relocations.
  • Workload Management: Ensuring all maintenance workloads are managed efficiently.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Implementing company Health and Safety policies and managing contractor activities.
