About the Role

Citywire is seeking an entry-level Research Coordinator to join our Data Quality and Analysis (DQA) team. As a Research Coordinator, you will be responsible for the acquisition, processing, and maintenance of fund manager information, responding to queries from internal and external stakeholders, and providing analytical support on an ad hoc basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to queries from internal teams and external clients, providing custom datasets as needed.
  • Prepare detailed reports, charts, and insights to keep stakeholders engaged and informed.
  • Ensure records, spreadsheets, and reports are accurate and up to date.
  • Gather fund manager information from online sources, internal Audience Development teams, and third-party relationships to help grow and maintain Citywire's databases.
  • Become a subject matter expert on asset management sectors, asset classes, companies, and individual fund managers, including their career history and performance.
  • Assist the CWX Team in various tasks and projects, providing additional support as needed.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities to interact with colleagues from different departments and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple workflows and changing objectives with minimal supervision, while meeting deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: A methodical and detail-oriented approach to identifying similarities and discrepancies in data.
  • Analytical Mindset: Comfortable working with large datasets and understanding how and why the data is significant for decision-making.
  • Microsoft Office Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Industry Knowledge: Some knowledge of the asset management industry or a strong desire to learn.
  • Language Skills: Fluency or business proficiency in Spanish is a bonus.
