Quality Assurance Professional

Location/Department:Quality Department Reporting to:Quality Manager Summary of Responsibilities:The Quality Assurance Professional will be required to regulate, control, and improve the quality of product and processes throughout the business and create a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Manage the Document Control process.
- Manage the ISO9001 Internal Audit program.
- Write and implement Procedures, Work Instructions and other associated documentation in line with requirements.
- Manage Product Quality testing to ensure compliance to specification and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage Process Auditing requirements to ensure compliance to specification and drive continuous improvement.
- Collect and analyse data for trending information, presentation to management and assessment for improvement opportunities.
- Management of non-conformances from problem identification to resolution using various quality tools.
- Assist the overall New Product Development process.
- Leverage the implementation and coordination of containment and corrective actions.
- Support the implementation of Lean initiatives.
Requirements:
- Develop close working relationships across all departments.
- Communicate quality performance across all levels within the company.
- Provide quality related training.
- Produce leadership and direction in relation to the QMS.
Safety and Health:
- Comply with company H&S policy and procedures.
- Assist when required in H&S management and training.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum.
Bonus: Performance-based bonus available.
