About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Merstham Park School. As a member of our SEND team, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEND needs, promoting their academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective learning plans.
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring a smooth and engaging learning experience.
  • Support students with daily living skills, such as organization, time management, and self-advocacy.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date with best practices and policies.
