Our client, a leading provider of infrastructure projects, is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Handling Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the Design Manager's team, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of project scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Documentation: Draft technical design documentation, including requirements, design reports, presentations, and calculations, to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations.
  • Design Conversion: Oversee the conversion of existing design records into a 3D model, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Project Registers: Maintain and update project registers of technical queries, change requests, design review requests, and design review actions, facilitating effective project management.
  • Design Task Planning: Determine durations for design tasks to support the principal engineer and project manager in planning activities, ensuring timely project completion.

Requirements:

  • A degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Senior Engineering level experience.
  • Prior experience working on licensed nuclear sites is highly desirable.
