Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing multi-company UK payrolls for approximately 500 employees and multi-country payrolls for approximately 150 employees. You will ensure accuracy and compliance of internal controls and processes, while also analyzing payroll results and resolving any issues that arise.

Responsibilities:
  • Process multi-company UK payrolls for approximately 500 employees and multi-country payrolls for approximately 150 employees. This includes processing manual, adjustment or off-cycle payments.
  • Participate in system maintenance and testing of payroll systems.
  • Review, process and audit timekeeping records for compliance with established standards.
  • Maintain employee data including starters and leavers, employee changes, variable pay, banking, benefit in kind, deductions, and garnishments, via manual entry and system uploads.
  • Prepare and maintain related payroll documentation and reports.
  • Analyze payroll data and identify trends or areas for improvement.
  • Resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable payroll laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience processing multi-company payrolls in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of UK and international payroll legislation.
  • Proficiency with payroll software systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
