We're seeking an exceptional Web Developer to join our dynamic team at Uprated, an evidence-led digital marketing agency based in Bournemouth. As a key member of our development team, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality web solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop user-centric web interfaces that provide exceptional results for our clients, adhering to best practices and high-quality code standards.
  • Collaborate with our design team to create innovative solutions that meet our clients' requirements.
  • Lead and manage our development team, working closely with our department head to ensure project success.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of e-commerce and CMS platforms, including WordPress and Shopify.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in web development, ensuring our solutions are cutting-edge and effective.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a web developer, with a strong background in front-end and back-end development.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a similar role within an agency or client-side environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and eagle-eye attention to detail to ensure high-quality output.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to discuss technical information and requirements with clients and colleagues.
  • A deep understanding of source control, deployment, and build processes.
  • Experience with build tools such as NPM, Composer, and Gulp.
  • A proactive work ethic and a highly motivated attitude, with the ability to prioritize, solve problems, and deliver results.
