About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Speech & Language Therapist to join our dedicated therapy teams at Parker Smith Inclusion Ltd. This is a full-time position, working term time only, in a specialist school based in the London Borough of Wandsworth.

The school provides education and care for children and young people aged 2 to 19 with a wide range of special educational needs (SEN). Our expert staff cater to pupils with various challenges, including visual impairments, multi-sensory impairments, profound and multiple learning difficulties, physical disabilities, autistic spectrum condition, and complex medical needs.

As a Speech & Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting these students. You will be responsible for creating individualized plans to address communication difficulties and promoting effective communication methods, such as AAC systems. Your expertise will help students reach their full potential and thrive in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement speech and language therapy plans tailored to each student's needs
  • Work closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver inclusive programs
Requirements
  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent qualifications
  • Valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

This role offers a competitive salary, reflecting your experience and qualifications. We estimate this to be around £45,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on your background.
