About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Learning Mentor to join our team at TeacherActive, working in a vibrant secondary school setting. As a Learning Mentor, you will work closely with students, teachers, and other support staff to provide tailored support and guidance, helping students overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality support to students, addressing their learning and personal development needs
  • Liaise with teaching staff to ensure consistent and effective support strategies, enhancing student outcomes
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and carers, keeping them informed of progress and next steps
  • Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures, ensuring that they are student-centered and effective
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a similar role or related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects
