About the Role

iO Associates, a leading partner for Global Food Manufacturing companies, is seeking a skilled Regional Procurement Buyer to join their team in Chiswick Park. As a key member of the procurement team, you will play a critical role in ensuring supply continuity, cost optimisation, and sustainable sourcing for the UK&I region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and develop the supplier base, driving strategic relationships and executing material group strategies.
  • Lead and manage the procurement of cocoa & chocolate for the UK&I region, ensuring supply continuity and cost optimisation.
  • Develop and implement category plans, driving sustainable sourcing and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal teams, to ensure effective communication and relationship-building.
Requirements
  • Graduate qualification or proven experience in indirect procurement.
  • Negotiation and commercial analytical skills, with experience in supplier/customer relationship management.
  • Project management and leadership skills, including the ability to make strong recommendations.
  • The ability to think strategically and set a 3-year category plan.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and manage key stakeholders.
