Job Summary
Deverellsmith is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Property Manager to join our team. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of properties efficiently and professionally, building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and the lettings team, and addressing maintenance issues and ensuring timely resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of properties, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of maintenance issues
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and the lettings team
- Handle and negotiate deposit returns during the deposit release process
- Investigate and resolve informal complaints quickly and efficiently
- Coordinate end-of-tenancy and pre-tenancy work in collaboration with the lettings team
- Develop and manage relationships with contractors on the preferred supplier list
- Conduct property inspections as required
- Support other areas of the business as needed
Requirements
- At least 1 year of Property Management experience
- Excellent personal presentation
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with clients and colleagues
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Motivated and driven to succeed and meet objectives
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Office
- Enthusiastic and proactive with a positive attitude and sense of humor
- Full clean driving license and access to your own vehicle
