Security Solutions Engineer

At Locke & Mccloud, we're seeking a skilled Security Solutions Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you'll play a crucial role in protecting our organization from security threats.

About the Role: As a Security Solutions Engineer, you'll be responsible for identifying and closing gaps in software practices, ensuring security solutions fit seamlessly with existing workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify security gaps and integrate appropriate tools within development processes.
  • Work within agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum) to deliver security solutions.
  • Train teams on core security products and create accessible documentation.
  • Promote security best practices and develop automated monitoring systems.
  • Help establish secure-by-default practices for engineering teams.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Java.
  • Strong Linux administration skills and knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with security frameworks like OWASP Top 10 and CVSS.

About You: With a background in systems engineering or administration, you're passionate about security and ready to transition into a more focused security role. You'll collaborate with application security engineers to safeguard data and systems.
