Character Animation Research Scientist Intern

Meta is seeking a highly motivated and talented Character Animation Research Scientist Intern to join our team. As a Research Scientist Intern, you will work alongside our experienced researchers to develop innovative solutions for character animation and machine learning.

Responsibilities:

  • Prototype and build novel research ideas
  • Design and execute algorithms and/or conduct and analyze experiments
  • Collaborate with and support other researchers across various disciplines
  • Communicate research agenda, progress and results

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or has a PhD in Computer Graphics, Character Animation, Robotics, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Human-Computer Interaction, Human-Robot Interaction, or related fields
  • 2+ years of experience with Python, C/C++, C#/Unity
  • Experience with technical character animation (joint hierarchies, skinning, motion models, inverse kinematics, numerical optimizations)
