We are seeking a talented customer care professional to join Blind Veterans UK on a permanent, full-time basis. As a Customer Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing excellent support to individuals contacting our organisation for advice and assistance.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to develop your career as a customer care specialist in a dynamic and inclusive environment. You will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service through phone calls, emails, letters, and social media queries;
- Supporting individuals with applications to join our organisation and processing donations;
- Ensuring that all supporters are thanked and enquires responded to;
- Maintaining and creating personal and financial data, ensuring its security and confidentiality;
- Liaising with ophthalmic secretaries to ensure applicants meet Blind Veteran UK eligibility;
To succeed as a Customer Care Assistant, you will need:
- Experience in handling customer queries and complaints;
- A working knowledge of GDPR, PCI compliance, Direct Debit guarantee, Fundraising standards/codes, Voluntary Sector regulations, and HMRC regulations;
- A meticulous approach to transaction recording and audit trail;
- Excellent administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
