Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contract Delivery Officer to join our team at the City of Edinburgh Council.

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the delivery of critical road safety programmes and contributing to casualty reduction on our road network.

The role will involve developing and implementing effective road safety strategies and interventions, as well as collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to promote road safety initiatives.

The salary for this position is approximately £40,000 - £47,000 per year, based on the current market rate.

Key Skills
  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in a field related to road safety or transportation
  • Experience in road safety, project development, and creating design solutions for appropriate interventions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid working environment
