About the Role:

This HGV Technician Team Lead position is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled individual to join our team at Auto Skills UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles are maintained to the highest standards and that our team is working efficiently to meet customer needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance, with a level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualification and prior supervisory/leadership experience. An HGV license is an advantage, but not essential. You will be expected to lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining high levels of morale and focus among team members
  • Maximising shift performance through effective problem solving, coaching and development
  • Ensuring that all vehicles are maintained to the highest standards

Requirements:
  • Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
  • Prior supervisory/leadership experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £42,484 per annum
  • Overtime paid at time and a half Monday-Saturday and double pay Sundays and bank holidays worked
