Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Contracts Analyst to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires the ability to critically appraise and interpret complex data, provide advice on actions, and demonstrate a detailed understanding of the National Tariff Payment System and National Standard Contract Terms and Conditions.

The successful candidate will have experience of the health service, including knowledge of health policy, NHS commissioning, and provision of services, as well as UK hospital practice and NHS trust management objectives.

The post holder will work closely with Divisional Managers to collate evidence to demonstrate compliance against Best Practice Tariff criteria, advise colleagues on improving compliance, and communicate changes in commissioning policy to improve compliance and reduce the risk of a loss in income.

A key aspect of the role will be to maintain awareness of changes to national and local commissioning policy and provide robust advice to stakeholders to improve compliance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver analytical support to the Contracts team to assist in the management of the Trust's contract portfolio.
  • Manage the monthly challenge process to coordinate the Trust's response to income challenges within the national timeframe.
  • Coordinate clinical audits as requested by Commissioners and liaise with Commissioners and internal stakeholders to ensure outputs are documented.
  • Provide advice to internal stakeholders on the application of contractual terms and processes.
  • Maintain awareness of changes to national and local commissioning policy and provide advice to stakeholders to improve compliance.
Requirements:
  • MA in contract management / Law or relevant subject.
  • CCAB and CIMA passed finalist with extensive experience.
  • Fully qualified within 6 months of being in post.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £54,320 - £60,981 per annum, including High Cost Allowance. We offer a range of benefits, including access to training and development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a supportive team environment.
