Estimated salary: £25,500 - £30,000 per annum.

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at HMP Hull. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to service users with complex health needs.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a healthcare setting, preferably within a prison environment, and hold a NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification. You will also possess good communication skills, the ability to work effectively as part of a team, and maintain confidentiality when necessary.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist with medication administration
  • Support clinical staff in delivering emergency care and assessing patients
  • Conduct blood borne virus and sexual health screenings
Person Specification:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • Experience of working in a healthcare setting, preferably within a prison environment
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
