As a Mobile Equipment Technician with Vp plc, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of our assets. Reporting to our Regional Director for London, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing our equipment, ensuring it meets the rigorous standards of the construction and installation processes.

Based in Central London, you will work closely with our On-Site branches to minimize unavailable assets and maximize our vast catalogue of MEP Hire products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean, test, inspect, and carry out repairs of equipment in an efficient and professional manner within MEP on-sites.
  • Support the On-Site Team in reducing the backlog of unavailable kit while ensuring quality.
  • Ensure all relevant administrative processes are correctly followed, including G42 and Toolminder.
  • Protect company assets by ensuring fleeted items are marked correctly.
  • Proactively maintain Health & Safety requirements and initiatives.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a general tool hire fleet or similar operation.
  • Relevant mechanical or electrical qualification.
  • Well-organized and excellent work ethic.
  • Capable and willing to contribute to operational decisions to ensure On-Site's and region make their targets.
  • Good level of computer literacy.
  • A full UK driving license.
