Salary: £48,000.00 per annum
Job Overview
As a key member of the ABM team, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out reactive repairs to HVAC assets and completing planned preventative maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit assigned sites to carry out reactive repairs and complete planned preventative maintenance tasks in line with client SLAs and KPIs.
- Support the team by covering for engineers within the allocated region as directed by the Contract Manager.
- Responsible for ordering required parts for jobs and ensuring that risk assessments are completed before all PPM and reactive works.
- Carry out replacement or new installations of equipment as directed, providing quotations where required.
- Maintain a professional image of ABM through positive presentation, behaviors, and attitudes, always wearing ABM uniform.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with client representatives and ABM employees.
- Ensure a safe and healthy working environment and promote a positive safety culture, adhering to ABM safety rules.
- Operate client software systems as instructed, looking for opportunities to save energy and ensure efficient maintenance activities.
- Send work reports and necessary ABM documentation to the admin team promptly within set timescales.
Required Skills and Experience
- Clean and current driving license
- AC qualifications to C&G or NVQ standard
- Clear communication skills
- Ability to work to KPIs
