Key Responsibilities:

  • Protection Advisory: Provide expert guidance on life insurance, income protection, critical illness cover, and other relevant products to clients, focusing on their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Lead Management: Collaborate with mortgage advisors to receive referrals and generate self-sourced leads, ensuring a seamless referral process and meeting clients' protection needs.
  • Client Engagement: Educate clients on the importance of protection products, particularly first-time buyers and those with residential mortgages, to help them make informed decisions.
  • Sales Conversion: Convert a high volume of leads into protection policies, leveraging both provided leads and those you generate, to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Partnership Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with mortgage advisors to create a collaborative environment and ensure clients' protection needs are met.
  • Business Development: Proactively seek out new opportunities for protection sales, including networking and developing new business partnerships, to expand your client base and revenue streams.
  • Compliance: Ensure all protection advice and sales are compliant with current regulations and industry standards, maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Protection Advisor or in a similar role within financial services, with a proven track record of success.
  • Qualifications: Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., RO5, CeMAP) preferred but not mandatory, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the field.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in converting leads into protection policies, with a strong focus on client satisfaction and retention.
  • Self-Motivated: Ability to generate and manage self-sourced leads effectively, driving business growth and revenue.
  • Customer Focused: Passionate about educating clients on the importance of protection and delivering tailored solutions to meet their unique needs.
