Newly Qualified Counsellor Opportunity

We are seeking a newly qualified level 4 Counsellor to join our team as a Triage Assessor at WhereToTalk, a leading Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) provider.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assess clients by phone, book appointments, and ensure data systems are up-to-date.
  • Maintain a calm and empathetic manner as the first point of contact for clients.
  • Utilize excellent keyboard skills to make accurate notes.
  • Experience in dealing with incoming calls is an advantage.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of level 4 in Counselling completed and passed.
  • Over 100 counselling hours.

Desirable Experience:

  • EAP experience.
  • Mental Health experience.
  • Team player with a commitment to client confidentiality.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Strong administration and computer skills.
  • Experience in client administration or service delivery signposting.
  • Strong empathy and listening skills.
