About the Role:



The Head of Ark Teacher Training Recruitment will lead the development and delivery of a comprehensive teacher training recruitment strategy, focusing on attracting and selecting high-quality trainees for Ark's flagship teacher training program. This role will oversee the entire recruitment process, from initial attraction to final selection, ensuring that the best candidates are identified and selected for the program.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Develop and implement a strategic recruitment plan to meet the needs of Ark's teacher training program, including setting targets, defining recruitment channels, and allocating resources.
  • Lead a team of recruitment specialists to deliver the recruitment strategy, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure that they are equipped to meet the demands of the role.
  • Manage the recruitment budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently to achieve the desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Ark Learning Institute to develop the employer brand and messaging, ensuring that the Ark brand is consistently represented across all recruitment channels.
  • Work closely with the Communications team to develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the recruitment process.
  • Provide regular reports and analysis to the leadership team, highlighting key trends, successes, and areas for improvement.


Requirements:




  • Proven experience in recruitment and talent acquisition, with a strong understanding of the education sector and teacher training.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of recruitment specialists.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, including teachers, schools, and other education partners.
  • Ability to think strategically, with a strong understanding of the education sector and the challenges facing teacher training programs.
