About the Role:

The Senior Investment Manager - Debt Fund will be responsible for managing the debt fund's investment portfolio, identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, and developing and implementing investment strategies to achieve the fund's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the debt fund's investment portfolio, including identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, and developing and implementing investment strategies to achieve the fund's objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, borrowers, and other industry professionals.
  • Conduct due diligence on potential investments, including financial analysis and risk assessment.
  • Prepare and present investment recommendations to the investment committee.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of the investment portfolio, including tracking key metrics and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement investment strategies and policies.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments, and identify opportunities to enhance the fund's investment portfolio.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in debt finance or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of business funding and debt transactions.
  • Excellent credit skills and ability to analyze businesses and loan requests.
  • Strong relationship skills and ability to convey and explain information coherently.
  • Ability to adapt to a variety of tasks and travel as required.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ambitious and hard-working self-starter with a strong work ethic.
