About the Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join our team as a Disability Support Specialist. This role involves providing initial assessments and action planning for newly accepted applicants to New Leaf, as well as ongoing clinical support, advice, and guidance to the New Leaf team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and organize all New Leaf reviews for relevant individuals using the service.
  • Monitor progress between reviews and work closely with the Responsibility for Policy and Service Development Implementation.
Requirements:
  • A good understanding of mental health and associated risks.
  • Experience in vocational rehabilitation services.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate in Coaching skills.
  • Current awareness of Government employment/training schemes.

The salary for this role is approximately £35,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience. The location is Exminster, Devon.
