Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Thames Water. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical equipment at our sewage treatment works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and repair electrical faults in a timely and efficient manner to minimize plant downtime.
  • Carry out proactive and reactive maintenance on electrical equipment, including inspections, testing, and repairs.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-discipline team to achieve maintenance objectives.
  • Provide technical advice and support to colleagues, including training and guidance on electrical systems.
  • Participate in a standby rota to provide emergency support during out-of-hours periods.

Requirements:

  • NVQ or C&G level 3 in Electrical Engineering is essential.
  • 18th Edition qualification is desirable, but training can be provided.
  • Significant experience in electrical systems, ideally in an industrial environment.
  • A valid driving license is required.
